Amy is a little girl who's frightened of monsters living under her bed. Of course, her mother thinks she's being silly. But thankfully Amy has a magic torch that keeps her safe in the dark. That is, until the night the batteries run out...
Not to be confused with Jamie And His Magic Torch - which is a whole other kettle of (psychedelic cartoon) fish - Amy's Torch is a short horror film that plays on our childhood fears. I mean, who hasn't snatched their feet up onto the bed before something scary grabs them? This is 3 minutes of frightening fun for your inner child. Yes there are weaknesses in the acting and the build up, but it doesn't really matter. Here It's all about the punchline. And it's a cracker. 3.5
